De bundel ‘Enkelvoud’ uit 1991 van Herman de Coninck bestaat uit drie delen of hoofdstukken. ‘Het meervoud van geluk’, ‘Zonder’ en ‘Onderweg’. Het laatste gedicht uit de bundel is ‘Ginder’ en volgt na twee gedichten Hier [1] en Hier [2]. Hoewel de titels van de drie gedichten enige samenhang suggereren heb ik die niet kunnen ontdekken. Wel tussen de gedichten Hier [1] en [2] maar niet met Ginder.&#13;

Omdat ik al gekozen had voor ‘Ginder’ houden jullie de andere twee gedichten tegoed. Of je leest ze zelf in ‘Enkelvoud’ natuurlijk.</text>

                <text>Après le décès de Paul Colinet, Marcel et Gabriel Piqueray trouvèrent parmi ses papiers le cycle « Beelden voor de tweede stem » (« Images pour la deuxième voix »), une douzaine de poèmes non datés, dédiés « Met heimwee aan mijn verloren Lierse vrienden van ‘t gelukkig jaar 1910 » (« À mes amis lierrois de cette heureuse année 1910, avec nostalgie ») Les frères Piqueray confièrent ces poèmes à Paul de Vree qui les publia et les commenta en 1960 dans la revue De Tafelronde.&#13;
Le court texte des frères Piqueray parut en français (p. 58) — l’avant-garde étant par définition transnationale et polyglotte :&#13;
La présence — à première vue surprenante — de poèmes flamands dans l’œuvre de cet écrivain d’ascendance wallonne, s’explique par le séjour du poète dans la province d’Anvers, d’octobre 1910 à juillet 1912, afin d’y apprendre le flamand. [...] Il fréquentait l’école moyenne de Lierre et y obtint de brillants résultats. [...] Les poèmes flamands de Paul Colinet rendent à nouveau témoignage du génie verbal de ce très grand poète.&#13;
Quant à Paul de Vree, il souligne que les poèmes de Colinet « se révèlent après une lecture attentive plus qu’un objet de curiosité » (« blijken na aandachtige lectuur méér dan een curiosum »).&#13;
Paul Neuhuys se souviendra que Colinet lisait ses poèmes flamands « en articulant savoureusement chaque syllabe : « ‘De metser was vergeten de muren van het huis op te bouwen’» (« Le maçon avait oublié de construire les murs de la maison ») ; il s’agit du premier vers du poème « Het volmaakte huis » (« La maison absolue »).</text>

Le Picasso publié chez Stock en 1923 est une pénétrante étude du peintre et décorateur de théâtre, précédée par L’Ode à Picasso en 1916 et suivie d’innombrables témoignages jusqu’à ce Picasso de 1916 à 1961, anthologie des textes les plus importants qui jalonnent leur relation.&#13;
Cette surabondance de louanges de la part de Cocteau cache la réalité moins connue d’une relation assez souvent chaotique au plan relationnel. Dans le privé, Cocteau se plaint de la froideur, voire de la distance de son ami. Dans son journal tenu de 1952 à 1963, il multiplie les réserves à son endroit.&#13;
Il n’est pas possible pour autant de gommer ces grands moments que furent la création de Parade en 1917, la présence de Cocteau comme témoin au mariage de Pablo avec Olga la même année, toutes leurs rencontres à Cannes, à Santo Sospir, à Nîmes et Arles pour les corridas, et leurs échanges épistolaires, directs ou via Jacqueline Roques, l’épouse du peintre.</text>

Un poète assis à sa table de travail est distrait par un crissement de pas sur le gravier. Par la fenêtre entrouverte, il distingue le chapeau de paille du jardinier. Une conversation s’engage. Les deux interlocuteurs comparent leurs arts respectifs : l’un cultive la langue, l’autre la nature. Chacun disserte sur ses “secrets de fabrication”; l’agencement des rimes pour le poète et l’art de repiquer les salades pour le jardinier.&#13;

                <text>L'histoire est une rêverie&#13;

Antonio Marraccini arrive à la Monalena, à Frosini près de Sienne, à la fin août 1441. Il revient de Bruges où il s'occupe des affaires des Spannocchi et, comme il le pressentait, un sentiment ampli­fié par le silence du village sur son passage, la Monalena est vide de toute vie. Certes, Anto­nio le sait, la mère est morte depuis quelques temps et Ornella, sa jeune sœur, n'a plus donné de nouvelles depuis son mariage ; Fabrizio, son jumeau, est fresquiste et il se dé­place de chantier en chantier, au gré des commandes, mais à la Monalena il n'y a plus nulle trace du père, Giovanni, et plus rien de ses notes, grimoires et carnets qu'il rédigeait patiemment, à longueur de nuit. Car Gio­vanni était de ces esprits éclairés, aux portes de la Renaissance, qui ne croyait pas en Dieu et s'interrogeait sur l'énigme de la vie et la va­leur de la création ; curieux de tout, il était fasciné par l'eau et s'était spécialisé en captages et autres travaux hydrauliques, réalisant irrigations, fontaines et jets d'eau pour le comte Gherardeschi au château de Frosini. Antonio recherchera vainement les carnets de son père ; il ne saura jamais non plus comment il a fini : sans doute est-il mort parmi les anonymes à l'Ospedale de Sienne et a-t-il été enterré dans la fosse commune. Ses retrouvailles avec Fabrizio ne l'aideront pas dans ses recherches mais elles permet­tront de lui donner de l'huile et de lui transmettre ce secret de la peinture telle qu'on la pratique alors à Bruges. Fabrizio commencera un autoportrait et imaginera de faire le voyage pour découvrir la lumière du nord et cette liberté des artistes qui s'af­franchissent des commandes de l'Eglise. B., l'actuel propriétaire de la Monalena, a re­trouvé aux archives de Sienne les carnets d'Antonio et de Fabrizio et une copie partielle de leur correspondance. Il imagine et recompose la vie ancienne de la maison. Mais est-ce par hasard ou par intuition qu'il a trouvé ces notes ? Et les documents sont-ils authen­tiques ? Il y a, comme le confiait Giovanni à ses enfants en contemplant le ciel étoilé, des choses que personne ne sait, pas encore... Bosquet de Thoran emmène son lecteur dans un cadre enchanteur, au sein d'une fa­mille où l'on est, à la fois, poète, peintre, ingénieur, musicien, contemplatif pour s'émerveiller, curieux pour s'interroger et philosophe pour apporter sa contribution à l'énigme impossible à dévoiler de la vie et de la création. Antonio, sur son cheval blanc, traverse l'Europe, passe sobrement dans le paysage toscan et laisse juste ce qu'il faut de notes pour alimenter la fiction et que l'histoire se transforme en une rêverie ouverte aux spéculations.&#13;
&#13;
D'une certaine manière, Sous la lune aux toits d'ardoise nous entretient des mêmes thèmes mais sous forme poétique cette fois ; il n'y a plus le couvert de la fiction et l'auteur s'avance seul pour livrer de manière brute ses tourments et ses remarques. C'est bien une voix intérieure qui parle en direct mais on re­trouve pourtant le même monde, avec des lu­mières qu'on devine toscanes et certains échos du Palio de Sienne. Il y a aussi cette écriture qui file de mot en mot dans son double sens d'échapper de soi et de préparer le tis­sage d'une histoire qui laissera des traces, cette forme d'inconnue qu'est la vie, avec son lot de surprises, les mots tour à tour me guident et m’égarent. Bosquet de Thoran s'interroge sur le temps, il semble en accord avec lui, avec son passage et ses tours sur lui-même comme font les chemins sur les collines, mais il vacille lorsqu'il entrevoit les gouffres vertigineux que sont la mémoire et l'oubli, le futur et la fin inéluctable. Il y a une envie de nuit complice mais aussi un désir de jour comme une nouvelle promesse, il y a à régler le problème du sommeil avec sa part de rêve, cette autre version du réel. Dans cette recherche d'un espace, dans cette longue hésita­tion entre clarté et ténèbres, le poète finit par ne plus savoir où il est, sinon entre chien et loup... Pourtant, ce qui pourrait passer pour un constat d'échec devient le modèle d'une pensée — d'une écriture, d'une réflexion — qui serait comme le vent, d'origine incertaine et de fin ignorée, de passage seulement, reconnaissable mais indéfinissable. Et qui ini­tierait un désir de voler à l'instar de la lu­mière qui, sans cesse, traverse l'air muet. Bosquet de Thoran fascine par sa capacité à entremêler innocence, légèreté et rigueur, il passionne en nous emmenant au cœur de nous-mêmes.&#13;

                <text>Les aquatintes de Gabriel Belgeonne au centre de ces «Temps partagés» Implanté rue des Amours, le Centre de la gravure et de l'image imprimée de La Louvière est un vaste bâtiment dont l'architecture tape-à-l'oeil, dans le voisinage des modestes maisonnettes louviéroises, offense nettement le regard. Un dinosaure dans un environnement de poupée... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mais l'intérieur vaste, lumineux, déjoue généralement cet effet coup de poing dont la Belgique s'est fait un triste priviliège. Les accrochages ne pâtissent pas de ce dispositif à plateaux, les oeuvres mises en situation avec grâce font oublier la technicité du bâtiment. C'est particulièrement vrai avec les gravures de Gabriel Belgeonne. Pourtant, on pouvait craindre que ces gravures tout en nuances et menus plaisirs, plus destinées à la patiente caresse de l'oeil, au recueillement de la main qui feuillette qu'au développement dans l'espace, auraient un certain mal à se colleter avec les murs. Il n'en est rien et l'espace intérieur qui est le leur, cette cosmogonie bruissante de mille mouvements imperceptibles, ce poudroiement métaphysique du temps dans l'espace mêlé aux larvaires aventures de l'encre, prennent parfaitement corps. Une condition, toutefois: suivre le parcours à rebours et faire fi de la chronologie. C'est au troisième niveau, en effet, que l'oeuvre récente de Belgeonne déploie au mieux ses charmes: ce qui ailleurs paraît parfois ténu, excessivement confidentiel - expérimentation d'atelier, alchimie un peu vaine de praticien - s'organise ici en un vaste monde dépourvu d'arbitraire. Grandes gravures et tableautins bougent admirablement, se répondent alors qu'au premier niveau l'accrochage est plus sec, plus monotone. Mais sans doute est-ce le fait, en bas, d'une oeuvre différente, plus retenue, plus contrôlée, presqu'immobile, lente incrustation de la forme dans la matière que représente l'anamite, ce motif emblématique de la fossilisation dont Belgeonne se servit souvent, mimant de son travail de graveur la lente offensive du temps. Comme un oeil à la surface de l'oeuvre, la fragile coquille paraît régler de sa présence les imperceptibles changements d'éclairage, de texture, de configuration que l'artiste imprime à ses planches, opposant la stratégie de l'escargot aux séismes qui secouent d'ordinaire la représentation artistique. Curieusement, tant de confidentialité, de scrupuleuse attention à ce qui se trame à la lisière du réel, n'est pas hors du monde mais en lui. Refusant les images pour ne garder des choses vues et vécues que le principe de leur macération et de leur métamorphose ou, au contraire, de leur éparpillement en une multitude de signes, Belgeonne a défini une topologie des mouvements de l'âme que sa sensitivité exceptionnelle suffit à situer en dehors des catégories traditionnelles. Visitant d'abord ce troisième niveau, on mesure mieux ce que le langage de Belgeonne a d'original, d'irréductible à cette abstraction lyrique avec laquelle, dans un premier temps, on serait tenté de le confondre et dont le répertoire, après près d'un demi-siècle de bons et loyaux services, peut paraître épuisé. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Certes et pour autant qu'on se contente de généralités, Belgeonne appartient à la grande famille de Soulages, Hartung, Degottex, Tapiès, Zao Wou Ki... Comme eux, il explore la face la moins visible des choses, s'attache à traduire en variations formelles et chromatiques - infinies nuances du clair et du sombre - les palpitations les plus secrètes de la planète. Mais on ne sent jamais poindre chez lui l'inclination pour le formalisme qui guette ce genre d'expression. Comme d'autres savent trouver le mot juste, éviter le bavardage, Belgeonne sait doser, sans faillir, les plus délétères de ses turbulences plastiques. &lt;br /&gt;&#13;
